Cirencester and Minchinhampton to host Stroud Combination cup final days

Eight clubs and 12 teams are due to contest the Stroud and District Rugby Combination’s three end-of-season cup competitions.
The action kicks off on Saturday 9th April when Minchinhampton 2nds host Cainscross in the Bill Adams Trophy.
All three competitions start at the semi-final stage with the teams in both the Senior Cup and the Junior Cup locking horns from Saturday 23rd April.
“They are still important competitions,” cups organiser Simon Collyer-Bristow told The Local Answer. “They are still enjoyed by the clubs, it gives people the chance to play something other than league rugby.”
Dursley have entered three teams while Cirencester and Minchinhampton have entered two, with Minchinhampton’s flagship team playing in the Junior Cup.
There are two finals days – the first at Cirencester on Saturday 7th May when there will be three finals, and the second at Minchinhampton on Saturday 14th May when there will be two finals.
Cup draws - Senior Cup: Dursley v Cirencester (Saturday 30th April); Stroud v Fairford (Saturday 23rd April).
Final: at Cirencester, Saturday 7th May (3pm)Junior Cup: Dursley 2nds v Minchinhampton (Saturday 30th April); Painswick v Cirencester 2nds (Saturday 23rd April).
Final: at Minchinhampton, Saturday 14th May (3pm). Plate final: at Minchinhampton, Saturday 14th May 14th.
Bill Adams Trophy: Minchinhampton 2nds v Cainscross (Saturday 9th April); Dursley 3rds v Wotton (Saturday 23rd April).
Final: at Cirencester, Saturday 7th May (1pm).
