Teams wanted for general knowledge quiz in aid of The Injured Jockeys Fund

Do you know the name of the new president of Brazil, or the capital of New Zealand or the collective term to describe a group of pandas?

If the answer to all three questions is ‘yes’, then you’d better get your name down for a general knowledge quiz that is taking place at the end of this month.

The quiz is in aid of The Injured Jockeys Fund and is taking place in the Gold Cup Room at Cheltenham Racecourse on Tuesday 27th November.

It is being organised by Chris Coley, who owns eight racehorses, and he asks that teams arrive at 7.30pm for a 7.45pm start.

Teams should be made up of no more than five people and the cost of entry is £20 per team.

Cheques should be made payable to The Injured Jockeys Fund and should accompany an entry form which are available from Chris Coley on 07710 346661 or 01242 514447.

And for those who don’t know, the answers to the three questions in the first paragraph are: a, Jair Bolsonaro; b, Wellington; c, An embarrassment.
