Tewkesbury Town hoping to make it two wins out of two in the Cheltenham League
Author: Roger Jackson, Posted: Friday, 13th September 2019, 13:50
Tewkesbury Town have kicked off the new Cheltenham Football League season as they ended the old one – in great form.
The Division One side won the Senior Charity Cup with a dramatic penalty shootout win over Northern Senior League bound Andoversford in early May and they have begun the new campaign in excellent fashion.
They won 5-0 at Welland Reserves in the opening round of the Junior Charity Cup at the start of the month and followed up with a thumping 4-0 win at home to Kings in their first Division One fixture of 2019/20.
On Saturday they hope to make it six points out of six when they travel to AFC Renegades, who drew their opening league game 1-1 at Dowty Dynamos.Division One
