AFC Renegades are new leaders in Division Two of the Cheltenham League
Author: Roger Jackson, Posted: Monday, 25th February 2019, 13:00
There was excitement aplenty in the Cheltenham League at the weekend with 18 fixtures producing 95 goals.
Only two of them were scored at Prestbury Rovers but that won’t worry AFC Renegades who are the new leaders in Division Two after securing a 2-0 win.
And Renegades travel to play the team they knocked off the top – Bredon Reserves – this Saturday.
Cheltenham Civil Service Reserves drew level with Andoversford at the top of Division One after their 3-0 win at Shurdington Rovers, although Andoversford remain on top because of their better goal difference. Andoversford have also played two games fewer.
Andoversford’s reserves were the highest goalscorers of the day, thumping Prestbury Rovers Reserves 8-0 in Division Three.
