AFC Cheltenham, Bishop’s Cleeve A and FC Lakeside Reserves are through to County Cup finals

Three Cheltenham League teams have made it through to County Cup finals.

AFC Cheltenham are through to the Gloucestershire Primary Cup final after a 7-0 win over fellow Cheltenham League side Apperley.

Bishop’s Cleeve A booked their place in the Gloucestershire Junior Cup final with a 1-0 win over Sharpness Reserves while FC Lakeside Reserves are through to the final of the Gloucestershire Minor Cup after defeating Kingsway Rovers Reserves 6-3.

In the league, all but one of the 19 league games were played, and Division One leaders Tewkesbury Town took the opportunity to stretch their lead to five points with a 2-0 win over Dowty Dynamos.

It’s as you were at the top of division Two with leaders Smiths Barometrics Athletic Reserves and Prestbury Rovers Reserves both winning, against Pittville United (1-6) and Brockworth Albion Reserves (1-5) respectively.

There was a shock in Division Three where leaders Smiths Barometrics Athletic 3rds were beaten 2-1 at home to Southside Star Reserves but there was no slip-up for Division Four pace-setters Tewkesbury Athletic who won 6-1 at Charlton Rovers Reserves.
