Frampton United and Sharpness are neck and neck at the top of the County League

Frampton United continue to set the pace at the top of the County League – albeit only on goal difference – after a convincing 4-0 victory over Little Stoke on Saturday.
Frampton were ahead after 20 minutes when Craig Mills sent Ryan Ford clear to slot home. They made it two in the 41st minute when Ford grabbed his second, turning in a cross from Fin Blythe.
The visitors were unlucky in the 60th minute when Dominic Brown cleared off the line after Luke Meacham had beaten keeper Taylor and five minutes later Taylor was in action again to deny Meacham.
But normal order was soon restored as Ryan Vincent added two further goals against opponents who had Andrew Criddle sent off just before the final whistle.
Sharpness remain level at the top with Frampton on 30 points after a 2-1 win at Hanham Athletic.
Dan Gayner hit the inside of a post in the first half and the home side went ahead after the break, through a Mitch Malshansky own goal.
Sharpness had to wait until the 70th minute for an equaliser which came from a Will Lacey corner that flew into the net.
There was also some good fortune about their second goal in the 87th minute. Keeper Dan Hobbs took a free-kick from just inside his own half and Jack Baber headed the ball past his own keeper and into the net.
Two late goals sent Hardwicke tumbling to a 2-1 defeat at fourth-placed Rockleaze Rangers.
Rangers’ Rory Langdon was unlucky in the 13th minute when his looping header struck the crossbar but right on half-time Hardwicke took the lead after a mix-up in the home defence allowed Kieran Tracey to drill the ball past Brodie.
In the 86th minute Hardwicke had a great chance to stretch their lead but Lewis Brodie brought off a great save to deny Ryan Barrett.
That was to prove crucial because on 90 minutes Dan Webb scored with a delicious chip into the top corner from 12 yards and in the 94th minute Rangers grabbed the three points with a goal from Jordan Connor who came on as substitute for his first game in three years after suffering numerous injuries.
Free-scoring Gala Wilton got another two goals on Saturday but unfortunately for them visitors AEK Boco more than matched that because they scored five.
Ben Sluman had an early chance for Gala but then the visitors took control and by the 32nd minute they were 4-0 up through Jake Slocombe (two), Cory Langdon and Harry Richards.
Gala pulled a goal back midway through the second half when Ryan Dobbins headed in an Adam Loveridge cross.
Jaye Rudge added a fifth on the stroke of full time for the visitors before Byron Lloyd lobbed the keeper to get Gala’s second.
Quedgeley Wanderers remain in seventh spot in the 15-strong division after a 1-1 draw at Henbury.
A good finish by Nathan Payne put Quedgeley ahead after 25 minutes but Henbury levelled seven minutes before the break through Aaron Rosser.
