Tewkesbury Athletic look to make it five wins in a row PLUS tomorrow’s Cheltenham League fixtures
Author: Roger Jackson, Posted: Friday, 25th October 2019, 12:10
Five teams boast 100 per cent winning records in Division Four of the Cheltenham League – only three other teams across the other three divisions can claim that – and remarkably all five could still have a perfect record going into November.
That’s because the fixture list has kept all five teams apart tomorrow.
Leaders Tewkesbury Athletic will be hoping to make it five in a row when they host Cheltenham Saracens 3rds while second-placed AFC Cheltenham will be looking to make it four on the bounce when they entertain Bishop’s Cleeve Development.
Winchcombe Town Reserves, who are level on points with AFC Cheltenham, travel to Andoversford 3rds, while Fintan Reserves – two wins from two – are at AFC Renegades Reserves.
While all four will be looking to add three points to their growing collection, the only team guaranteed to still have maximum points come Saturday evening are Kempsey Corinthians and that’s because they are involved in a Wrcestershire FA County Cup tie with Inkberrow.
