Ryan Vincent scores hat-trick as Frampton United go on goal rampage

Frampton United hit a magnificent seven as they walloped County League strugglers Little Stoke 7-1.
The home side were ahead after five minutes when Ryan Vincent turned in a cross from Shaun Lawson and they were two goals to the good on 20 minutes when a Manolo Espada cross was turned into his own net by Jazz Bright.
Vincent added his second on 30 minutes following a cross by Joe Wilton and although Luke Meacham pulled a goal back for the visitors it was pretty much one-way traffic as Vincent then turned goal-maker for Shaun Lawson to neatly lob the ball over the keeper.
Three minutes into the second half Vincent completed his hat-trick with an overhead kick that went in off the Little Stoke keeper.
Frampton scored their sixth on 83 minutes with Manolo Espada getting in on the act and just before the end Nathan Dennis set up Shaun Lawson to make it seven.
The win takes second-placed Frampton to within two points of Lebeq United although the leaders have a game in hand.
Fourth-placed Stonehouse Town went down 2-1 at Hardwicke despite taking the early initiative.
The game came to life in the 17th minute when Stonehouse’s Jamie Martin broke into the Hardwicke box from the right and was brought down by Will Higgins for a penalty. Alex Kibble made no mistake from the spot.
Higgins tried to make up for his mistake a few minutes later but his powerful shot was pushed away for a corner. A break away by the visitors on 26 minutes almost resulted in a second goal as Will Hayward stormed down the left flank and crossed into Jamie Spring but he drove the ball hard against the post.
On 35 minutes Hardwicke levelled when Keiran Brice-Ingles and Will Higgins set up Keiran Tracey to hammer a 30-yard drive into the roof of the net.
In the 40th minute Alex Kibble went very close to restoring Stonehouse’s lead with a 35-yard scorcher that went just past the post but the home side grabbed the lead a minute before the break when Stonehouse keeper Will Peddrick brought down Will Matthews in the box for a penalty.
Will Higgins was nominated to take the kick and planted it past the keeper but right on half time the home side were reduced to 10 men when Keiran Tracey was sent off for a second bookable offence.
The visitors continued to press for an equaliser and Kibble went close again on 50 minutes with his shot just skimming the bar. On 70 minutes Tim Williams saw his shot from 20 yards pushed over the bar by Hardwicke keeper Jacob Hobbs while at the other end Peddrick brought off a great save to deny James Ratcliffe.
A late goal earned Ruardean Hill Rangers a 2-2 draw at home to Hanham Athletic.
Hanham went ahead after 10 minutes when Sam Baber’s first shot was well saved by Underwood but rebounded back to him to fire home.
Rangers thought they had levelled on 35 minutes from a fantastic 30-yard strike from Jack Knight but it was ruled out for offside. Both clubs were reduced to 10 men in the 55th minute and 12 minutes later Rangers levelled with a fine strike from Luke Johnson who lifted the ball over the keeper’s head.
The visitors were back in front on 75 minutes with a great 25-yard strike from Joe Treasure and then two minutes later Johnson almost levelled when clear on goal but he shot wide.
And they had to wait until the 89th minute to gain a share of the spoils when Steve Coombs netted.
Broadwell Amateurs made it two wins in a row as they came back from 2-0 down to visitors Gala Wilton to win 3-2.
In fact, Gala were two ahead in the opening quarter of an hour. James Bowers’ fine cross into the box was met by Danny Knight who drove a low shot into the net after five minutes and 10 minutes later another Bowers cross found Jason Littleton who fired high into the roof of the net.
The fightback began within three minutes when Harry Williams headed home at the far post and he was on the scoresheet again eight minutes before the break.
And Williams completed a fine turnaround on the hour mark when he latched onto a loose ball from a free-kick to score his and his side’s third.
Gala rallied but goalkeeper Jamie Merry was in excellent form to deny the visitors.
Kingswood, meanwhile, have withdrawn their first team from the league.
