Luke Soule scores only goal to earn Stonehouse Town win in County League

Stonehouse Town made it three wins in a row in the County League but they were pushed all the way by Little Stoke before pulling through 1-0.
The visitors were much the better side in the first half and were unlucky not to have taken the lead when Jack Burgess had two goalbound efforts cleared off the line.
Stonehouse grabbed the three points from a move that saw Alex Kibble’s long ball picked up by Chris Earle and his cross was met by Luke Soule to score from close range.
Frampton United dropped their first points of the season when they were held to a 1-1 draw at Hardwicke.
It was goalless after the first 45 minutes but that was entirely due to a fine save by Frampton keeper Steven Sparrow who kept out Will Matthews’ header on 15 minutes after Ryan Barrett had sent over the cross.
The deadlock was broken in the 63rd minute when Matthews, bearing down on goal, hit his shot across the keeper and Nathan Dennis charging back could only steer the ball into his own net.
The home side could have had a second in the 69th minute but for a fantastic save from Sparrow to deny Ryan Barrett.
Frampton levelled the score when sub Kris Bulley crossed for Ryan Vincent to drive home. Home keeper Ricky Warden then saved well from a Matt Cook free-kick and in the last minute of the game Cook saw his goalbound shot cleared off the line.
Hanham Athletic gained their first points of the season at the fourth attempt with a 3-1 win over visitors Gala Wilton.
A fine strike from Jamie Fry on 35 minutes from just inside the box gave the home side the lead and then a minute before the break his brother Jack should have made it two. Straight from the restart George Cryer did make it 2-0, running clear onto a Sam Brown through ball.
Jamie Fry grabbed a second before Gala netted a consolation following a corner that fell to Jay Dare who made space to drive the ball home.
Ruardean Hill Rangers made it two wins from three with a 3-1 win at Broadwell Amateurs in a game that saw six yellow cards and two reds.
Broadwell had a lot of possession in the first 45 minutes but found themselves a goal down after 15 minutes when Luke Brown scored.
It got worse for Broadwell as Guy Jones was sent off after picking up a second yellow card.
A straight red for Rangers’ Charlie Mason after the break evened things up and the home side equalised in the 80th minute when a long Burnard cross found Ben Fishwick on the far post and he finished it off.
But Broadwell’s joy turned to despair as Kane Fellows put Rangers back in front and in the very last minute a Shaun Tingle cross found Luke Johnson and he fired the ball high into the Broadwell net.
