Liam Beachus and Luke Soule were on target at AEK Boco and Soule and Will Hayward with two were the goalscorers against Rangers.
Hardwicke were another team to enjoy a win double with a 2-1 success over Henbury on Saturday followed by a 1-0 win over Broadwell Amateurs yesterday.
Glen Gittins headed home Paul Carter’s inswinging corner to give Hardwicke the lead against Henbury and after Henbury had levelled Carter drove home from 20 yards 15 minutes from time to seal the points.
Jack Twyman tapped in a Steve Bick cross for the only goal of the game against Broadwell.
Broadwell had two days earlier gone down 3-2 at Thornbury with goals by Jordi Sheen, who fired home from 25 yards, and Ben Fishwick, who netted in the final minute
Frampton United, who take on champions Thornbury in the final of the Les James Cup on Saturday, hit a magnificent seven without reply against Gala Wilton on Saturday.
Max Harper-Emerson got the show on the road after 17 minutes for the visitors with a simple tap-in and three minutes later Ryan Vincent broke through the defence to slot the ball into the bottom corner.
Another mistake in the home defence allowed Sean Lawson to break clear for a 3-0 lead in the 24th minute. Just four minutes later a cross into the box came off Tom Dunsford for an own goal and right on half time it was 5-0 as Ryan Vincent netted his second of the afternoon.
Jonathan Lewis then latched onto a poor back pass to score the sixth on 70 minutes and it was Lewis again in the 86th minute to complete the scoring.
It got no better for Gala yesterday as they went down 3-0 at home to Southmead CS Athletic.
Ruardean Hill Rangers, meanwhile, won 2-0 at Patchway Town on Saturday with goals by Luke Johnson, a fine solo effort, and Matt Barnard with a volley.
