It’s so tough for The Beeches as they lose out to FC Barometrics Reserves

AFC Renegades defeated Charlton Rovers Reserves 3-2 in the Division Three play-off final

The Beeches, who led Division Two of the Cheltenham League for much of the season, have suffered their second big disappointment in a couple of weeks.

Having just been pipped to the title on goal difference by Cheltenham Civil Service Reserves, they were then beaten 4-0 by FC Barometrics Reserves in the play-off final.

It was a great effort by FC Barometrics Reserves because three days earlier they had been beaten 3-2 by Cheltenham Civil Service in the Senior Charities Cup final.

The Division Three play-off final was won by pre-match favourites AFC Renegades, although it was close as they beat Charlton Rovers Reserves by the odd goal in five.

And the Division Four play-off final was even closer with Malvern Vale FC Academy beating Welland Reserves on penalties after the match had finished 1-1.
