Semi-final draw for Cheltenham League’s Senior Charities Cup

The first season of the Cheltenham League’s new-style Senior Charities Cup will see a team from outside the top flight involved in the final.

The draw for the semi-finals was made last night and one of the ties will see FC Barometrics Reserves of Division Two play AFC Renegades, who play a level below them.

The other semi-final sees Division One champions Cheltenham Civil Service take on fellow Division One side Whaddon United Reserves.

This is the first year that the Senior Charities Cup has been played on an FA Cup style where all clubs from the four divisions take part.

Service and Whaddon will lock horns on Wednesday 4th April at Bishop’s Cleeve Football Club (7pm), while Renegades will play Barometrics at the same venue on Tuesday 17th April (7pm).

The final of the competition, which is sponsored by CEMAR, will be played at Cheltenham Town on Wednesday 2nd May (7pm).
