Gloucestershire Women v Dorset Women (at Chapel Gate)
ECB Women’s County Championship Division 3 Group B

Gloucestershire got their league season off to a winning start with convincing back-to-back victories over Wiltshire and Dorset.
Against Wiltshire, Gloucestershire won the toss and tore through the visitors' top order leaving them 10-3.
A partnership of 34 in 65 balls between Wakeling and Day held Gloucestershire up for a while, before Abby Evans took a catch at short leg to dismiss Wakeling and give Charlie Phillips (2-7) her first wicket. From 44-3 Wilts collapsed to 47 all out as Mollie Robbins picked up four wickets for just two runs.
In reply Evans wasted little time in taking Gloucestershire to their target of 48 in only 7.1 overs as she finished unbeaten on 30 from 26 balls.
In the match against Dorset two early wickets for Danielle Gibson (2-18) put Gloucestershire on the front foot before the home side fought back to 83-4 in the 37th over. However the introduction of Lucy Gladdy for her second spell proved decisive as the young leg spinner took 4-18 in five overs. Evans chipped in with 2-10 and Phillips took 2-6 as Dorset slumped to 101 all out in 43 overs.
Evans and Bethan Moorcraft opened the batting and the pair ruthlessly chased down the target of 102 in 17.1 overs. Evans finished not out for the 2nd game in a row, scoring 53 from 51 balls while Moorcraft was unbeaten on 36 to give Gloucestershire their second win of the weekend and maximum points from their first two games.
