Gloucestershire’s over-60s 2nds are narrowly beaten by Somerset
Posted: Thursday, 25th May 2017, 14:10
Gloucestershire over-60s’ second string suffered a last-over six-wicket reverse against Somerset in their latest County Championship outing but are still second in the Western Group, narrowly behind Devon.
Dave Durston and Roger Beese shared a century partnership as Gloucestershire battled back from a slow start to reach 232-7 from their 45 overs at Chipping Sodbury.
But Somerset, thanks to a century from Pete Rebera, timed their reply to perfection, clinching the win with two balls to spare.
Gloucestershire’s next home match is at Apperley on 22nd June against Worcestershire.
