When GAIL's bakery opens in Cheltenham next month, it promises there'll be absolutely no food waste.
Every unsold item will be donated to the community through charity, food banks and community groups.
The popular chain, which has more than 185 stores across the UK, is opening on The Promenade on Friday 17th July 2026.
When asked what foodie fans can expect, a GAIL’s spokesperson said: "The opening will bring GAIL’s craft baking to the community, including creating a number of craft baking, barista, and management roles.
"We will also be donating surplus baked goods through our Neighbourly partnerships.
"This is part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities we serve and improving access to quality food and drink on the high street.”
Fans of GAIL's will be able to enjoy breakfast, lunch and take-out breads, sweets and cakes as well as drinks and gifts, seven days a week.
Since establishing in London in 2005, GAIL's bakeries have popped up across the south east of the UK and beyond, with recent openings in Bristol, Bath and Oxford, as well as Stratford-upon-Avon and Leamington Spa.
