Q&A, My Sporting Life – Paul Critchley, Gloucester Charity Skittles League
Author: Roger Jackson, Posted: Friday, 23rd June 2017, 09:00
Name: Paul Critchley
Date of birth: 16th October 1973
Birthplace: Gloucester
Schools: Hempsted and Beaufort
Occupation: Programme manager
Where you live: Gloucester
Your sport: Skittles
Your position: Gloucester Charity Skittles League chairman and chairman of Outkasts, the team I play for
Club: Outkasts, who play in Division Five
Best achievement/result and why: 82 as I was feeling incredibly ill with a cold and most probably extremely relaxed!
Style of play: Aim for front left hand side!
Best team-mate you played with and why: Paul Barnett. We always have weekly banter to beat each other’s score
Best opponent and why: Hard one this but I’ll go for Minsterworth Rebels.
Best manager/coach you played for and why: Roy Hickman. He provides constant encouragement, has played skittles for many years and seen it all!
Best thing and worst thing about your sport today: The best is the weekly activity to see friends and the worst is a slow sticker and late second half finishes
What is your involvement in sport today? Play weekly and chairman of league
What do you think you will be doing sporting wise in five years' time? Definitely not golf! More skittles and swimming.Copyright © 2024 The Local Answer Limited.
