Whaddon United look to turn up pressure on leaders PLUS all of Saturday’s Cheltenham League fixtures

In-form Whaddon United could draw level at the top of Division One of the Cheltenham League this weekend.
They travel to Hanley Swan on Saturday knowing that another three points – they have won four and drawn one in the league this season – would take them to the same number of points as current leaders Tewkesbury Town, who are without a game.
And while they will be full of confidence when they head to Hanley Swan they also know that in reality they are unlikely to be on top of the pile come 5pm on Saturday.
That’s because second-placed Malvern Vale, who ended Tewkesbury’s unbeaten start in Division One last weekend to go level with the leaders, host Newton who are still looking for their first three-point haul of the season.
As well as 13 league fixtures scheduled across the four divisions on Saturday, there are also four Senior Charity Cup games and a number of County Cup ties featuring teams from the Cheltenham League.
