A tasty treat for kids to make in the Easter holidays!
Ingredients:
200g milk chocolate
100g dark chocolate
150g Maltesers
100g mini marshmallows
50g digestive biscuits
50g unsalted butter
2 tbsp golden syrup
1 tsp vanilla essence
Method:
1. Melt the milk and dark choco-late, butter and golden syrup in a heatproof bowl over simmering water until smooth.
2. Remove from the heat and mix in the vanilla essence. Leave to cool for a bit but not long enough for it to start setting.
3. Gently crush the Maltesers and break the biscuits into small pieces. Add the mini marshmallows, biscuit pieces and 100g of the Maltesers and stir until combined.
4. Line an 8” square baking tin with greaseproof paper.
5. Press the mixture into the tin then sprinkle the remaining 50g of Maltesers on to the top.
6. Put in the fridge for a couple of hours then tip onto a chopping board and cut into squares.
Tip: Use supermarket own brands to keep the cost down – they’ll turn out just as delicious!Copyright © 2025 The Local Answer Limited.
