Tewkesbury's Victoria Gardens will be transformed into a celebration of the arts this summer.

From Thursday 30th July to Sunday 2nd August, The Roses Theatre is hosting its first garden festival.

The public park will be filled with dramatic performances, workshops, live music, children’s activities and sizzling street food. 

Designed to be family-friendly, ticket prices have been kept low and there's free entry to children under three-years-old.

Theatre Marketing & Events Officer, Danielle Lewis, said: “We’ll be transforming Victoria Gardens into something Tewkesbury has never quite seen before – part theatre, part hangout, part mini escape.

“Bring the kids for bold, brilliant twists on classic stories and let them jump straight into hands-on activities and workshops.

“Plus, there’ll be live music drifting through the trees, street food worth lingering over – and a bar that will turn the whole thing into a really special summer occasion!”

Family-friendly shows include Charles Dickens’ The Pickwick Papers, nostalgic favourite The Railway Children, Sherlock Holmes as well as interactive puppet show Bin Rat!
