Every year the Guiting Music Festival brings renowned jazz, blues and classical musicians from all over the country (and beyond) to the village of Guiting Power.

First held in 1970 as purely a classical music event, this year the festival is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and has announced a stellar line up of performers.

Opening the festival on Friday 24th July will be celebrated, American-jazz vocalist 'Stacey Kent', followed by a unique blend of jazz and word music played by 'The AKA Trio' on the following Saturday.

The festival runs until Sunday 2nd August and will feature a performance every day, before closing with the now-traditional Open Air Blues Concert, with singer-songwriter Dani Wilde and her band headlining.

In total there are eight evening performances in Guiting Power Village Hall, and two open-air jazz and blues events on Sunday 26th July and Sunday 2nd August, held on the playing field behind the Village Hall.

Tickets are £20-£24 for evening concerts; £20 for open-air events and, are free of charge for under 19s at all concerts when accompanied by a ticket holding adult.
