A chance to perform at one of the most popular music festivals in the area is just one of the great prizes on offer at Tewkesbury’s first Battle of the Bands.

The event, which has been organised by the team behind the Tewkesbury Big Weekend, will see six bands perform before a live audience and a panel of expert judges who will pick the winner.

That winning band will win £250, a free photoshoot courtesy of The Photo Studio Tewkesbury, and a slot at Lakefest 2020 in August.

“This is the first time we’ve done a Battle of the Bands,” said organiser Carol Crilly.

“We’re always looking to bring something a bit different to Tewkesbury.”

The Battle of the Bands will be at The Roses Theatre on Saturday 7th March, and applications to perform are open until mid-February.
