With the country officially on ‘lockdown’ and the government urging us to stay at home bar any essential travel, it’s fair to say some of us will have some more spare time on our hands.
With that in mind, we went around the office and asked each member of The Local Answer team for what book they would get lost in for a few hours.
Claudie – Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (JK Rowling)
Dave – “Anything about rugby!”
Helen – The complete James Herriot series
John – The TV Guide
Julia – Anything by Lee Child
Lois – The Tales of the Otori Series (Lian Hearn)
Louis – Enemy Number One (Patrick Veitch)
Matt – Set the Boy Free: The Autobiography (Johnny Marr)
Rob – The Undercover Economist (Tim Harford)
Tom – Zonal Marking: The Making of Modern European Football (Michael Cox)Copyright © 2024 The Local Answer Limited.
