The school summer holidays are upon us, and here at The Local Answer we know it can be a challenge to keep the family entertained when school is out.
So we’ve put together a handy guide of the best things to do in each of our five publication areas – Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, North Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds – in the coming months.
Primrose Vale Farm Shop
Take advantage of the summer months by paying Primrose Vale a visit on the Shurdington Road, to pick your own local produce.
With a wide range of crops from strawberries to asparagus, the farm is open until September for picking alongside the farm shop, which is open all year round and sells local produce including breads, cheeses and organic meats. There’s even a café on site for post-picking refreshments.
