Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice is opening its doors to local people and families for a special autumn event, to raise vital funds for the hospice.
Taking place in the picturesque grounds of the hospice, the annual Autumn Fayre has become a firm family favourite, packed full of fun for all to enjoy.
A variety of attractions and activities will be on offer, including children’s activities, live entertainment and the inaugural Leckhampton Court Dog Show. In addition there will be a bottle tombola and a grand raffle with plenty of prizes up for grabs.
The crowds will be kept entertained with live music from local entertainers and visitors will be able to enjoy tasty food and drinks from an exciting range of vendors, barbecue and a pop-up bar.
People will also have the chance to chat to the hospice’s team to find out more about what they do and volunteering opportunities.
Proceeds from the Fayre will go to Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice, which provides expert palliative care for people living with life-limiting conditions, as well as supporting their families.
Megan Platt, Community Fundraiser at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice said: "We provide our compassionate carefree of charge to those who need it however it costs £10,000 every day to keep all of our services running. The majority of this has to be fundraised, through events such as our Autumn Fayre.
"Many people in the local area have been touched by Leckhampton Court. Not only will the Autumn Fayre raise funds to help us continue our work, but it will also be a chance for the local community to come together and have some fun.
"We hope you will be able to join us! There will be something for everyone, from games and activities for children to entertainment and stalls to keep the adults happy, plus lots of delicious food and drink. So come and sit in the sunshine, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy all that's on offer, across our lovely site."
The Autumn Fayre will take place on Saturday 7th September.
Entry is £2.50 and children under 12 are free. Gates are open from 11am to 4pm at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice, Church Road, Leckhampton, Gloucestershire, GL53 0QJ.
