Abbeymead Rovers, the club that have done so much for football and the community over the years, are celebrating again.
That’s because six of their players have been selected to play for the South West regional walking football teams.
Stuart Langworthy and Andy Bellingham have been chosen for the over-50s, Ade Walsh and Chris Fletcher have been picked for the over-60s and Sid Curran and Danny Ward will be flying the flag for the Gloucester club in the over-70s age group.
Regular readers of The Local Answer online will know that Langworthy is also manager of England’s over-60s football team.Copyright © 2024 The Local Answer Limited.
