Gloucester face trip to Sale Sharks on 19th October on day one of new Gallagher Premiership season

Gloucester will launch their Gallagher Premiership 2019/20 campaign at Sale Sharks on Saturday 19th October.
The fixtures were released today with the start of the league season being delayed by more than a month because of the World Cup which will be taking place in Japan in September and October.
The Premiership Rugby Cup will take centre stage in September but once the league campaign kicks in it will be full on for Gloucester’s players, especially as they will again be playing in the Heineken Champions Cup this season.
Gloucester supporters will see their team in action in a league game for the first time this season on 26th October when Wasps are the visitors.
Because of the late start to the campaign, Gloucester will play just six Premiership matches before Christmas, including champions Saracens at home on Saturday 9th November and an evening game against Worcester, also at Kingsholm, on Friday 20th December.
The games come thick and fast in the new year, starting with Bath at home on Saturday 4th January and Bristol away three weeks later.
Gloucester host Bristol on the last weekend in March and travel to Bath on the last weekend of May, a week before the regular league season ends with a home game against Northampton.
The play-offs take place on the weekend of 12th/13th June with the Premiership final scheduled for Saturday 20th June.Copyright © 2024 The Local Answer Limited.
