There is plenty to look forward to over the coming days and weeks as the Stroud and District Rugby Combination prepares for a thrilling finish to the season.
There are cup finals, a memorial game and a 125th anniversary game to look forward to and that’s in addition to the final few league games and all the junior rugby that is still being played.
The first of four cup finals takes place this Saturday when Dursley 3rds play Tetbury in the Bill Adams Trophy at Cainscross (1.30pm).
And it’s going to be a big day for Cainscross because that final is followed by the club’s 125th anniversary game against a Stroud Combination XV (3.30pm).
The Senior Cup final takes place on Saturday 20th April between Cirencester and Dursley at Painswick (3pm) and a week later Painswick will again be the place to be as the club host the Junior Plate final between Dursley 2nds and Cainscross (1.30pm).
And that won’t be the only game that day because the final is followed by the Jack Mitchell Memorial game when Painswick will play 32 Regiment, Army (3.30pm).
The last of the finals takes place on Saturday 4th May at Cirencester when Stroud 2nds will play Fairford in the Junior Cup (3pm).
