Matson pile up the points against Gloucester All Blues in North Gloucestershire Combination’s Glanville Cup

Matson almost hit a century in the opening round of the North Gloucestershire Combination’s Glanville Cup last night.
They won 96-12 at Gloucester All Blues and will now host Chosen Hill in the semi-finals.
In the other two games played last night there were wins for Chosen Hill and Old Cryptians over Spartans and Longlevens respectively.
The draw for all three cup competitions was also made last night and in the Senior Cup, Matson will host Coney Hill while holders Old Centralians entertain Brockworth.
Matson, like Old Centralians, could still win all three cups.
Last night’s results, Glanville Cup first round: Gloucester All Blues 12 Matson 96; Chosen Hill 33 Spartans 20; Longlevens 10 Old Cryptians 33.
Senior Cup semi-final draw: Old Centralians v Brockworth; Matson v Coney Hill Ties to be played Tuesday 16th April.
Junior Cup second round draw: Old Cents v Hucclecote; Chosen Hill v Coney Hill; Longlevens v Matson; Gordon League v Old Cryptians. Ties to be played Wednesday 17th April.
