Old Patesians may be homing in on the South West One East title but they won’t be enjoying any home comforts tomorrow.

That’s because their Everest Road pitch is waterlogged, so they’ve switched tomorrow’s game against Wimborne to the Prince of Wales Stadium.

The stadium, which used to be home to Cheltenham Tigers, is now home to high-flying Gloucester Two side Smiths, who are at Bristol Aeroplanes tomorrow.

Unbeaten Pats are chasing their 17th straight win of the season and Craig Jones’ side will be strong favourites to do so against opponents who lie 10th in the table.
