Day one tips for The November Meeting at Cheltenham Racecourse
Cheltenham > Sport > Horse Racing
Author: Roger Jackson, Posted: Friday, 16th November 2018, 08:00
The Young Master is tipped to get this year’s November Meeting at Cheltenham Racecourse off to a winning start.
He is backed by Mike Edwards to win the opening race on day one of the three-day meeting.
Trained by Neil Mulholland, Edwards said: “He took advantage in the drop in weights when winning recently at Chepstow. He is again well treated at the weights and fancied to win.”
Edwards’ NAP selection is Darlac in the final race of the day – the 3.35pm. Trained by Colin Tizzard and ridden by champion jockey Richard Johnson, Edwards says: “He was a recent 17-length winner on his hurdling debut,” before adding, “The Tizzard/Johnson partnership, can he be beaten?”
Mike Edwards’ top tips

2.25: MR WHIPPED – Nicky Henderson’s highly rated novice chaser will go close.
3pm: TIGER ROLL – Festival winner and victorious in last year’s Grand National, highly fancied but has plenty of weight!
