This month you can expect the hyper energy levels in small children to be soaring through the roof, as the sales of chocolate Easter eggs and smiling bunnies begin to rise. As we reach April, not only will the kids be getting excited for their Easter egg hunts, but adults can look forward to the sun not setting at 4pm and begin to enjoy the longer days of sunlight. With this in mind, have a gander at some of these impressive gizmos that might be able to help jet-set your spring.

RED5 VR Panoramic 720 Degree Camera
If you like to take in the scenery once in a while, then capture the moment with this panoramic camera. With the sun (hopefully) finally making its comeback and spring beginning to settle, there’s no better time to take out your camera and start snapping the wonders of the outside world. With this camera you get plenty of opportunity to capture that perfect shot with a 720-degree camera that seizes every moment.

It comes with all the trimmings, including a tripod, sticky mounts, and a memory card slot that can hold up to a 64GB card. You can also use the free-to-download App from Google Play to make your camera compatible with Android devices, letting you download videos and images from your camera to your phone or tablet. Even if you’re not interested in nature shots, this cool panoramic view will capture whatever grabs your attention and you’ll get to show off your photography skills.

Laser X 2 Player
Another way to lure kids away from their iPads and into the outside world – other than chocolate eggs – is to get them their own personal laser tag kit. OK, so it’s still modern technology, but at least it involves some exercise? At £49.99, this two-player game comes with two blasters and vests, an interactive voice coach, and some cool light and sound effects to bring the virtual world of laser tag to reality. While the interactive coach helps give you feedback on your laser-ing skills, the light effects help you keep track of the shots fired.

The Laser-X 2 Player also comes available with head-phones to listen to the sound-track and really immerse yourself in the game. Thanks to this handy gadget, kids can entertain themselves blasting each other (non-violently, that is) as they battle for the laser tag glory. While it may not exactly be best for ‘team-bonding activities’, if you want to unleash your competitive streak, just keep your gun loaded and eyes on the prize.

Lakeland Frozen Dessert Maker
Chocolate is certainly the main indulgence at this time of the year, but if you’re wanting to steer away from the Lindt bunnies and chocolate chicks, then you can have some fun with this Frozen Dessert Maker from Lakeland (available at £34.99). Chop up some fruit, freeze it overnight and then get churning as you make some tasty sorbet-style pudding. This compact machine is easy to use and clean, ensuring you get to create a variety of different desserts without having to worry about a big clean-up afterwards
