Juice Cell
Portable mobile device chargers are common, they’re popular and useful too! Keeping it fresh, the 2000mAh Juice Cell available from littlepurplebox.co.uk takes a basic concept and applies quirky design. The unit comes with a built in standard and mini USB port, resulting in greater compatibility with a range of devices. Four micro indicator lights on the base of the unit illuminate to display the current capacity so you’ll always know if the cell is good to use, or if you need to charge up, which is activated by pressing the silver base button. The device comes with three connector heads (2 x sizes of mini USB and iPod/iPhone).
As a test, I left the Juice Cell alone and it charged to capacity in a couple of hours. I then connected it to a completely dead BlackBerry mobile – battery charge was bumped to 75% in about an hour and I was good to go. Connections, build quality and finish were all excellent. Packaging was strong and clear instructions were included. For £9.99 the Juice Cell is good value for money and does the job, making getting charged with a battery rather handy!

Eco Friendly Water Powered Clock
For £6-8 and available in a range of colours, keep time and save money with the Eco Friendly Water Powered Clock. Just add water and a splash of lemon juice (optional). The internal anode-cathode system generates power through the transfer of electrons contained in the electrolyte rich water, very similar to the potato powered radio kids create in school. Now for the water powered car!Copyright © 2025 The Local Answer Limited.
