Compatible with iOS and android technology, this gadget is waterproof and weighs only 170g. I’m struggling to identify a fault with this – it seems a rather good idea and very well executed!

For the child in us, £10-15 buys the black liquid phenomenon that is FerroTec Ferrofluid. Microscopic magnetic particles react when disturbed by an external magnetic field so you can watch water dance – literally. I highly recommend this, as it is great fun, but it does stain so beware!
