Thieves break in to Cotswold RDA shop Tewkesbury High Street

In the early hours of Thursday 27^th January thieves broke into our new shop on Tewkesbury High Street.

A large quantity of riding jackets were stolen along with other items. We are so saddened by this, as all these items have been donated by generous local people who want to support Cotswold RDA. The money generated from the shop supports adults and children living with a disability by giving them the opportunity to ride and interact with our herd of wonderful ponies.

The front door was smashed, using a wheelie bin, causing significant damage. Inside a display unit was damaged and the till draw stolen!

We only opened the shop in early December and have already gained a reputation for excellent quality merchandise being sold to support a wonderful cause. Cotswold Riding for the Disabled is a community of people who come together to ride ponies, or to enable others to ride. We know that contact with ponies offers excellent therapy to both young and old, living with any kind of disability. We can see and measure the benefits to those who ride with us, both in terms of physical and mental health and well-being. Not to mention the FUN!

In order to re-stock the shop floor we would love to accept your donations of pre-loved clothing. We are hoping to re-open on Saturday 29^th January.
