Cheltenham Racecourse is set to host some huge names from the world of music and comedy in the coming months.

English-born, Italian-raised indie singer/songwriter Jack Savoretti has announced he will be making a stop at The Centaur on Thursday 31st October, giving fans the chance to hear brand-new music from his latest album.

Savoretti has enjoyed critical and commercial success over the last few years, climbing to number one on the album charts with his sixth LP Singing to Strangers earlier this year – which features a song co-written with Bob Dylan.

The announcement comes after a string of UK festival appearances, including an appearance at Westonbirt Arboretum as part of the Forest Live gigs this summer.

Following on from Savoretti will be another Jack, but this time it's comedian Jack Whitehall who will be appearing.

He will be at The Centaur on Monday 11th November as performs new material for his upcoming arena tour.

Whitehall is one of the country’s most loved stand-ups and has appeared in a number of programmes and films, including ‘Bad Education’, ‘Fresh Meat’ and the upcoming Disney film ‘Jungle Cruise’.

Also appearing at the Racecourse will be Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra on Saturday 9th November, and award-winning comedian Rob Beckett, who is embarking on his biggest headline tour next year and he will be making a stop in Cheltenham on Thursday 28th November.

Lee Moulson, Regional Head of Sales at Cheltenham Racecourse, said: “We have an exciting few months ahead of us with some amazing talent.

“We are thrilled to announce Jack Savoretti and Jack Whitehall to the already excellent line-up of Jools Holland and Rob Beckett who are all ready to entertain.

“We are thrilled to have all the acts on the bill, but keep your eyes peeled for a few more announcements along the way.”
