Gloucester Music Society’s winter season

Our winter season opens on September 22nd with Lumas Winds, who bring us Mozart, Nielsen, Mathias and more. On October 27th, Rupert Marshall-Luck (violin) and Duncan Honeybourne (piano) play pieces by Bliss, Gurney, Howells and Whettam. Seasonal music comes from vocal ensemble Octavo on November 24th. Tickets £20 and concessions. Six-ticket series £100. Concerts take place on Sunday afternoons at 3pm at the Ivor Gurney Hall, Pitt Street, GL1 2BH. Enter by the red pillar box. Christmas tree festival and Christmas fayre

Christmas Tree Festival runs from Saturday 30th November-Sunday 8th December at Holy Trinity Church, Longlevens, GL2 0AJ. 10am-4pm on Monday to Saturday, Sunday hours 12-4pm.
