Cryogenically frozen after the 60th anniversary (in 2024), the ISIRTAA musicians and performers have been let out of the BBC Archives for a noble cause – the ‘80 for 80’ campaign, to help keep the Cheltenham Playhouse afloat (the idea of turning it into a boat was nixed early on).
