Lewis Ludlow will make his 100th competitive appearance for Gloucester in tomorrow’s Gallagher Premiership fixture against Wasps at Kingsholm (kick off 3pm).

Ludlow made his debut in the 2013-14 season, and has gone on to become a regular in the Gloucester back row, skippering the team in both the Premiership Rugby Cup and Heineken Champions Cup last season.

The Cherry and Whites name the same side that started at the AJ Bell Stadium last Saturday, with the only changes to the matchday squad among the replacements.

Jake Polledri and Callum Braley are both included on the bench having returned from Rugby World Cup duty with Italy, while Ben Morgan is named in the matchday squad for the first time this season.

Head coach Johan Ackermann knows that his team will have to take things up a notch against a talented Wasps team.

“We’re excited to play our first home game in the league, but we also know that Wasps have a team full of All Blacks and international stars,” he said. “Therefore, we have to be at our best, better than we were last weekend.

“We’re just going to take it game by game, and we’re really looking forward to the challenge. I trust that the players will be better than last week and we’ve been working on fixing a number of individual things from last weekend.

“But, we’re just very excited to be back in front of our own fans at Kingsholm.”
