It’s very difficult to look past Altior in the showpiece race on day two of the Cheltenham Festival.

So says The Local Answer racing tipster Mike Edwards, who is backing the Nicky Henderson star to repeat last year’s success in the Queen Mother Champion Chase.

Edwards said: “He appears to be unbeatable at present – 17 straight wins under Rules, a winner at the last three Festivals and can handle the soft ground.”

Meanwhile, Edwards warns that the heavy rain and the resultant change in the ground may throw up a few long priced surprises.

Mike Edwards’ top tips for day two
