Andoversford and Bishop’s Cleeve A looking for a cup double in the Cheltenham League
Author: Roger Jackson, Posted: Friday, 15th February 2019, 10:30
It’s Senior Charity Cup time in the Cheltenham Football League on Saturday with 16 teams hoping to make it through to the next round.
And some good match-ups there are too with Division One high-fliers Andoversford travelling to Gala Wilton Reserves and Bishop’s Cleeve A, another side going well in Division One, facing a trip to Brockworth Albion Reserves.
Andoversford and Bishop’s Cleeve A have already booked their place in the final of this season’s Junior Charity Cup, a tie that will be played at Bishop’s Cleeve on 28th March.
Elsewhere, in-form Division Two side AFC Renegades head for Hanley Swan, while Division Four pace-setters FC Lakeside Reserves travel to Tewksbury Town, who play three divisions above them.
If games are level after 90 minutes, there will be a penalty shootout to decide the winners.
The round of cup matches mean that there are only two Division One fixtures on Saturday and there are no games in Division Two.
