It’s as you were at the top of Division One of the Cheltenham League after Whaddon United drew 2-2 at home to leaders Tewkesbury Town on Saturday.

The result leaves second-placed Whaddon five points adrift of Tewkesbury but they have two games in hand.

Prestbury Rovers climbed into the top four with a 2-1 win over Kings and remain seven points behind Tewkesbury having played one game fewer.

Third-placed Malvern Vale, who have played more games than anyone else in the division, drew 2-2 at Cheltenham Civil Service Reserves with the home side getting a share of the points with a goal by Joe McCauley.

Bishop’s Cleeve A may be down in down eighth spot but that is largely because they have played only seven games, the most recent of which was an impressive 5-1 win at Dowty Dynamos.

It was their fourth win of the league campaign and although they are 13 points behind Tewkesbury they have played four games fewer.

Elsewhere, Southside Star gained their second win of the campaign with a 4-0 win over AFC Renegades but bottom-of-the-table Newton are still looking for their first three-pointer after going down 2-0 to Shurdington Rovers.

There’s all to play for at the top of Division Two and it’s become a little more congested because leaders Smiths Barometrics Athletic Reserves saw their match against lowly Andoversford Reserves postponed.

Prestbury Rovers Reserves started the day in second and faced a big game when they travelled to the Folley to play Leckhampton Rovers. Three points separated the teams at kick-off although Rovers had a game in hand but it was Prestbury who took all three points in a 4-2 win.

Gala Wilton Reserves started the day with the same record as Leckhampton and the third-placed club took on St Paul’s United, who began the day in fifth.

As at the Folley there were six goals but there were no losers at St Paul’s where the game finished 3-3.

Windyridge Rovers have moved ahead of St Paul’s on goal difference after winning 6-2 against Pittville United despite being without captain and talisman Wes Sharpe who was suspended after picking up the first red card of his career.

In the only other game in the division, Fintan produced a fantastic result, winning 7-2 against Brockworth Albion Reserves.

Smiths Barometrics Athletic III stretched their lead to five points at the top of Division Three with a 5-2 win over Malvern Vale Reserves, while second-placed Cheltenham United were held to a 1-1 draw by Charlton Rovers Reserves and third-placed Cheltenham Civil Service III lost 2-1 to FC Lakeside Reserves.

That made it six wins out of six for FC Lakeside who remain the form team in the division.

At the other end of the table Tewkesbury Town Reserves enjoyed a 2-1 against 303 Squadron while Falcons Reserves overcame Worcester City Royals 2-0.

Division Four leaders Tewkesbury Athletic bounced back to winning ways with a 3-1 win at Pittville United Reserves but AFC Cheltenham remain hot on their heels after making it seven wins in a row with 4-3 win over Bishop’s Cleeve Development.

Winchcombe Town Reserves cemented their position in third place with an 8-0 win at Woodmancote United while AFC Renegades Reserves also hit eight, conceding one in reply, as they saw off Cheltenham Saracens 3rds.

The final game in the division saw Gala Wilton A face Fintan Reserves. Fintan started the day with a two-point lead and four games in hand on their hosts but it was Gala who took the points with a 4-3 win.
