‘The Rolling Clones’ are to top the bill as special guests at this year’s Phoenix Festival.

As one of the most popular The Rolling Stones tribute bands in the world, The Rolling Clones have been strutting their stuff across the globe for more than twenty years.

They have performed on nearly every continent and at some top-class venues, including the illustrious 100 Club in London.

A spokesperson from The Rolling Clones said: “We are thrilled to be special guests at this years’ Phoenix Festival and can't wait to see everyone having a good time with us. Come get some satisfaction!”

The band perform all of the classic Stones hits and are led by frontmen ‘The Jaggernaut’ and ‘Keep Ripoffs’, who pay their own special tributes to Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.

Festival Manager Glen Moreman said: “We are very excited to welcome The Rolling Clones to top this year’s Saturday line up.

“They are a fantastic tribute to one of the greatest rock and roll bands in the world!”

The Rolling Clones will be joining already announced ‘Totally Tina’ who will be headlining the Sunday line up.

Internationally acclaimed Totally Tina is the longest running tribute to the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll.

A spokesperson from Totally Tina said: “2019 is the 30th Anniversary of the release of Tina’s iconic hit, ‘The Best’, so we are particularly thrilled to be special guests at this year’s Phoenix Festival and can't wait to see everyone singing, dancing and shaking a tail feather with us!

“We promise a passionate and pulsating show that will send you home buzzing! We hope you agree that Totally Tina is ‘simply the best’!”

Now in it’s seventh year, the Festival was the brainchild of Ozone, a Cirencester club for young people aged 13 to 19.

The Phoenix Festival takes place on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th August in the Abbey Grounds in Cirencester.

The Festival is organised through the registered charity and company Cirencester Community Development Trust and is supported by Cirencester Town Council who provide the Festival site, the Abbey Grounds, at no charge.

Thanks to sponsorships and donations, the Festival is able to offer attendees entry free of charge and sees around 15,000 visitors each year.
